Dallas, TX – Fish Software, a Dallas Texas based event technology company has
partnered with Technology Forums to support the Department of Veteran’s Affairs
educational conference and exposition e-HEALTH 2008 that takes place in Tampa
between July 15th and 17th. The event will feature location intelligence technology that will improve the attendee experience by providing better access to information.
The Fish system, that uses “Ultra-Wide-Band” radio frequency tags, is likened to an
indoor GPS system since it will allow the attendee to detect his/her exact location, with an accuracy of six inches, whenever they press a small green “Tell Me More” button on their tag. This location intelligence will be leveraged to proactively make information requests whenever, and whereever, they are standing on the show floor. When the attendee is standing in an exhibitor’s booth space and press their “Tell Me More” button information about that exhibitors products are instantly uploaded to the attendee’s personal web-based micro-site. The attendees will also be able to leverage the “Tell Me More” buttons in the 11,000 square foot poster session area and use their tags to request that specific educational posters are uploaded to their personal micro-sites or ins session rooms to request copies of presentations. The Fish “ShowKEY Tag” also features an additional button that empowers the attendees to swap contact information. If they each press their “My-Network” button within a few seconds of each other, the system will identify the attendee’s location and instantly swap their contact information to each other’s micro-sites.
